Marshall was born in San Antonio, Texas, but grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado; Mandeville, Louisiana; and Fort Worth, Texas. While he was attending Texas State University in San Marcos, he began to experience his call to ministry. He began as a worship leader at the Baptist Student Ministry, then was a Peer Minister at the Lutheran and Episcopal Ministry, and ended his time in San Marcos as the Ministry Intern at First Christian Church – San Marcos and at the United Campus Ministry (DOC, UCC, UMC, and PC-USA). He is currently attending Phillips Theological Seminary and is so excited about the opportunities at First Christian Church of Plano as the Associate Minister. Marshall is now attending Brite Divinity School.
