Aaron’s ministry in church music spans nearly 25 years serving a variety of congregations and sizes in Baptist, Lutheran, United Methodist, Episcopal, and Presbyterian churches in Oklahoma, Colorado, California, and Texas.
Aaron earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and Bachelor of Arts in Speech degrees from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, a Master of Arts degree in Theatre from Texas A&M University-Commerce, and Ph.D. in Humanities from The University of Texas at Dallas. I n addition, he has completed graduate work at California State University-Fullerton and The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York.
Aaron is Professor of Theatre at Southeastern Oklahoma State University and adjunct faculty in Theatre at Texas A&M University-Commerce and Humanities at Southern New Hampshire University. His background includes voice, musical theatre, acting, directing, film, and Shakespearean studies. He is active with McKinney Repertory Theatre and Repertory Company Theatre in Richardson, and has been on the Board of Directors of North Texas Mensa since 2020 where he currently serves as President.
Aaron has two sons, Collin and Aiden.
