Worship and Wonder in Discipleland
Discipleland is the area where our children meet for their worship program: Worship and Wonder. Children's worship takes place during both the 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. worship services, providing an opportunity for your child to experience God in age appropriate way each week. Worship and Wonder allows children ages three through 3rd grade to worship God in ways that are relevant and meaningful to them. It is intentionally structured much like our regular worship so that children are learning to slow down, listen and experience God much like their parents. Although we hope our kids have a blast and know they are loved, our real is goal is for them to gain a life long love of God and church over time. Much like our main worship, children will sing songs, hear a Bible message, take time to reflect, read scripture, and share snacks and fellowship together. Children’s church typically starts 15-20 minutes into the main worship service.
JYF(Junior Youth Fellowship) is for grades 3-5 – JYF if a fellowship group for our older children. They meet once a month from 5:00-7:00 p.m. for food, fellowship, service, and/or fun outings (or as otherwise scheduled).
Summer camps for EVERYONE!Every summer our kids and youth travel to Disciples Crossing in Athens Texas for an amazing experience. This is truly a Holy Ground where life long friendships are made and a lasting faith is discovered! Click here for dates and registration.
Nursery(Birth – 2 years)
Our state-of-the-art nursery is available to you during the 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. worship services as well as the Sunday School hour. Our staff consists of nurturing individuals who will put your child’s well-being and safety first.
Children’s Sunday School
(Ages 3 to 5th grade)
Sunday School is available each Sunday morning from 10:15 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Each class uses the same series of Sunday school curriculum with lessons geared towards their particular age group. This allows all the children to learn the same lesson but at their own age level.
LOGOS Ministry:
We, who follow in the ways of Jesus, believe that something happens when we spend time breaking bread around the table together.
So once a month (usually the 3rd Sunday), our youth group time is devoted to sharing a meal together around a table – sometimes with
mixed ages (youth, parents, kids, mentors together). Some times in smaller groups (youth and mentors sharing a meal, while parents
share a meal). Each LOGOS night includes food, activities, and fun!
