First Christian Church of Plano

Sunday Worship Celebrations

Informal Worship: 8:15 a.m. (Chapel)

Our early service is an intimate, informal worship service. Music is provided by piano accompaniment with the celebration of the Lord's Supper and the pastor's message in a quiet, peaceful environment.  Nursery care provided for children under age 5.

Coffee & Donut Fellowship: 8:45 a.m. (West Fellowship Hall)

Sunday School: 9:30 a.m.

Attend one of our several Sunday school classes.   Classes offered for adults and children of all ages.  Nursery provided for children 2 and under.

Traditional Worship: 10:35 a.m. (Worship Center)

This traditional service is celebrated with full choir, organ and special music. The Chancel Choir, Silent Voices, Children's choirs, Bell Choir, as well as individual contributions provide regular special musical presentations. Pulpit sermons of God's message to His children, as well as weekly celebration of the Lord's Supper provide a more structured service within the traditions of the Disciples of Christ churches.  Nursery provided for children 2 and under.

Children's Church: 10:50 a.m. (Youth Room)

Children's Church, "Discipleland", allows age 2 through 5th grade to learn about God, while getting to participate in a service designed for their age group. The curriculum used is multi-sensory and quite captivating. Your children will love the energetic "worship time" and creative activities that reinforce the central theme for that week.  Children's church typically starts 15-20 minutes into the 10:35 service after the children's message.  This provides your children an opportunity to start experiencing "big church" as well.
